Absolutely pleased with this purchase. We had a similar sun shade that we had for years that is finally showing its age. We wanted something similar in design and this was it. I love the ease of putting this up in seconds. Made well. Nice carrying case. Made of salt water resistant metal so it will last. Gave us the shade we needed and easily fit all four of us underneath.

Purchased Solbello Sun Shade because our beach township is very strict about what type of sun shade beach goers can use. The Solbello is as advertised, simple to put up and take down and works wonderfully. In fact I ordered another one and four of my neighbors did as well. Great product!

Living near the beach we have used umbrellas, a Shibumi and now a Solbello Shade. The Shibumi is a good product for large groups. The downside to Shibumi is when the wind changes direction, which it normally does in the afternoon, you will need to pull up one end of the pole and orient it towards the wind. You will also need to move the attached sandbag. Shibumis are also several degrees warmer while sitting underneath due to the large area covered and sides which retain some heat. The Solbello will move with the wind. No need to figure out which direction the wind is blowing as with a Shibumi. The Solbello comes with 2 poles. The bottom section has a corkscrew tip and fold up/down handle to use while securing it in the sand. The top slides into the bottom pole and tightens together easily. Push the shade up and it will lock into place. The Solbello Shade is great for 2 people with plenty of shade room for 2 beach chairs, a cooler and beach bag. It is my go to shade screen when going to the beach and I highly recommend it.

As we’ve gotten older (now early 80’s), our desire to spend time setting up beach shade has diminished. We have a couple of beach shades, but we really dread the filling of sand bags, and whatever else is needed. Last week at the beach our younger family set up an umbrella and 4-post beach shelter, always making room for the two of us. The last day they were here, a couple set up a Solbello right next to us. I had never seen one before, but was amazed at the simplicity. So as soon as our family left (along with available shade), we bought one.

If I’m being slow, it takes MAYBE 2 minutes to set up. And when the wind shifts, it turns. The only time we needed to move chairs was when the sun moved across the sky. When it’s time to take it down, it again only takes a couple of minutes, at the most.

Now we no longer have to wait until late afternoon to go to the beach (to avoid the sun) or take a lot of time fiddling with filling sandbags and erecting a shelter. This is may be the best beach purchase we’ve ever made.

Also, about the company itself. I had some questions and concerns so contacted customer support in the evening. I received a solid response FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER. Other communications have also been handled as promptly. An amazing company!

Nothing beats this umbrella. I was first introduced to it in Cocoa Beach visiting my sister while she was on a beach excursion from her cruise. The wind was strong due to a storm offshore and the hotel had these umbrellas out for their guests. I was surprised by their durability in the wind conditions and knew I had to get one as soon as I got home. We use it in the rod holders on our boat, take it to the beach, and even use it outside on our patio in an umbrella holder. I can’t recommend this enough!

I did my research before purchasing. Loved the price and the size of the carry-On. I even got complements from a young lady and I ended up giving it to her and her Military boyfriend as I was with my family. That’s why I bought another one. I see the other more expensive brand at the beach as well and they make a lot of noice and they have to readjust. Mine was set it and forget it. Love the 1 inch play to compensate for wind like a sail. Does not crack with the 30-40mph wind as the more expensive competitors…

Just bought our 3rd Solbello shade! I can carry it easily and set it up by myself. Perfect for 2-4 chairs or several folks on a beach blanket.

This has become my go-to beach shade for solo or two-person beach days. Still prefer a canopy tent for larger groups.
Yes, low-wind days are a bit annoying to deal with, but, does not change my overall opinion of this shade. Solbello will always have a place in our beach wagon from here onward!

I tried 4 different tents/shades/canopies for my surf fish setup. I stopped looking at other options after trying Solbelllo the first time.

Used it for the first time last week. It was amazing. We had the best shaded area on the beach. I watched another persons umbrella come loose and take off. I highly recommend this sunshade. I will say, you’re going to get a lot of looks if you use one! They are beautiful too!

Lightweight and easy to set up. I was able to use it in 18 mph winds on the beach in Florida.

I want to preface this review by saying that the only thing that would make the Sol Bello shade better is if there was a bright pink option. I live near the beach and go a few times a week, so I need quality beach equipment. I have run the gamut when it comes to shades, but this is the best. I have three other brands in my garage, but I keep the Sol Bello shade in my car because that is the one I want to use when I go to the beach. It is super lightweight and quiet. It is so easy to set up and takes me about 1.5 minutes. I have used it for almost three years and have no rust or other problems with quality. You don’t have to move it if the wind changes because it self adjusts. It comes with tie downs for no wind days. I have had several people ask me about my shade and now have five new Sol Bello shades on the beach because of my glowing recommendation. I cannot suggest it enough! Sol Bello, please make it in bright pink.
