The Solbello umbrella is the best beach shade you can buy. It's far superior to the Shibumi Shade on all counts: quality, use, and price. I discovered and purchased a Solbello online while on vacation because I was so disappointed with the Shibumi Shade I bought just for my trip to the beach. Here is my comparison of both: 1) The SOLBELLO performs exactly as advertised: easy set up - I did it myself in what felt like a minute, the bottom pole with auger screws easily into the sand and stays there firmly for hours. The upper pole with the sail stays solidly attached to the bottom pole and moves in the direction of the wind. The sail provides ample coverage. Once the Solbello is in the ground, you can ignore it and enjoy your time at the beach. 2) IN COMPARISON, THE SHIBUMI SHADE does not work as advertised. It was time consuming, cumbersome, unwieldy, and just difficult to set up with many more parts. Its sandbag is hard to fill because its opening is so small. The rope connecting its sandbag to its frame does not hold its shade in place. Per the photo I took of both the Solbello and the Shibumi, you can see what happened to the Shibumi: even though its bag was filled with sand, its shade always blew over to one side requiring constant adjustment. It was irritating to be sitting down and have to get up repeatedly to reset the shade. It was disappointing to be in the water dodging waves only to look back and see the Shibumi with its shade on the ground. With Solbello, you are covered and do not have to think twice about after set up. I strongly recommend the Solbello umbrella, you will not be disappointed. As for the Shibumi? I returned it and never plan to buy another.

I love the fact is thin and lightweight. We went to the Outterbanks and this shade was enough for the four of us. Great quality

I have lived at the beach for 50 years and have seen a lot of umbrellas and beach shades come and go. By far Solbello is the best!

I was very pleased with my solbello! It was easy and fast to put it. I was able to get 2 chairs under easy, and 3 if you wanted to sit a little closer. I also like the shade option on days when it is not windy! I would recommend to any of my friends.

Light weight and easy to cary. One person can set up in a couple of minutes.So easy. Smart design. Great sun protection. Very satisfied.

Awesome!! Used in Wildwood NJ. Was able to sit in the shade on a windy day while umbrellas were blowing away! Lightweight and easy to carry. Stayed anchored and easy to set up.

I tried and have them all - umbrella's, canopy tents, curved shade devices - and this one wins hands down. Plus its compatible with my Tommy Bahama umbrella so I can switch from one to the other as the wind picks up without having to remove the bottom pole from the sand. Definitely a winner - liked it so much I bought two.
