We absolutely love our two Solbellos! After years of using traditional umbrellas and more recently a Shibumi, the Solbello has completely changed our beach setup experience for the better. It’s incredibly quick and easy to set up and take down, easily taking half the time (or less) compared to other options we’ve tried. We’ve used it on both windy and low/no wind days and it has worked perfectly. The included no-wind kit makes sure you still get reliable shade without any hassle.
What truly makes the Solbello a must-have for us is how it fits within our beach town’s rules. Local regulations here (30A area of Florida) restrict “tents”, defined as anything with two or more contact points with the sand, to the back half of the beach. Since the Solbello has just one pole touching the ground, it’s not classified as a tent which means we can set up right in the front half of the beach, close to the water. That alone has made it worth every penny. We used to be Shibumi users, but after these new rules, we needed a solution that still gave us great shade and portability while staying compliant and the Solbello is perfect.
Not only that, but the shade area is surprisingly large. When we had family visiting with a Sun Ninja tent, we set up our two Solbellos next to each other and together they offered comparable sun coverage *and* could be positioned close to the water.
All in all, this is a fantastic product. It’s smartly designed, super functional, and fits our lifestyle and location perfectly. We’ve already been recommending it to our friends and neighbors. If you’re in a beach town with similar rules or just want a super easy, wind-friendly, and effective shade option then this is it!
We have a very popular other name beach shade that requires putting the poles together and then threading the tent, then figuring out which way the wind is blow…. I am exhausted just typing all that! This shade you have NONE of that! Thank you!

Solbello with QuietSail is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING product..I was set up next to a Shibumi..They kept having to move theirs and it was very loud… their takedown seemed a bit laborious too, and I was done in literally less than 2 minutes.. Best product on the market.
